Saturday Tournament Results
It was a beautiful day of bowling at the San Jose Bowling Club. The depth of high caliber bowlers we have in the PIMD was on full display throughout the day. After a very competitive day of bowling, no teams got through it undefeated. We finished with three 3-1 teams. The top 2 teams played in the final game (as expected in our strength vs strength format). Kevin Reynolds (San Francisco) and Judy Hillyer (Berkeley) were the front runners in the last game playing against Frankie Napoli (Rossmoor) and Patricia Erwin (Berkeley). Frankie and Patricia took the front runners down, but not by a large enough margin to win the tournament. Kevin and Judy won first prize, Frankie and Patricia finished second, and Calvin Darling (San Francisco) and Reggie Banares (San Jose) were third.

Sunday Tournament Results
First Place: Rachel Marcuson and Lawrence Quill from Santa Cruz. Second Place: Jim Corr (Berkeley) and Rose Selby (Palo Alto). Third Place: Jesse May and Jill Wynn from Santa Cruz. This was an outstanding performance by the Santa Cruz bowlers. Santa Cruz is one of our smaller clubs by total membership, yet 4 of the 6 prize winners came from SCLBC on this day! Congrats! This event marks the first of six that will count toward Bowler of the Year standings, which will also be shared on the website.
